The March Fair, known in Chinese as "Sanyue Jie," is an annual festival in Dali City, southwest China's Yunnan Province. Dating back more than a thousand years to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the weeklong event began as a marketplace for herbal medicines and daily goods. Over time, it has evolved into a vibrant celebration that brings together trade, culture and ethnic tradition. Follow CGTN's Yang Jinghao as he explores the sights, sounds and spirit of this ancient yet ever-evolving festival.
