Marina is a master's student from Spain, currently studying at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. As a passionate admirer of Chinese tea culture, she recently visited Fenghua District in Ningbo, where she experienced the profound traditions of Chinese tea firsthand. Through engaging with local tea artisans and participating in tea ceremonies, she realized that in China, drinking tea is not just a habit—it's a way of life that reflects the Chinese people's inner calm, humility, and respect for harmony and ritual.

Coming from Spain, a country known for its vibrant social culture and love for sharing food and drink, Marina found a fascinating contrast in the quiet, meditative world of Chinese tea. Yet, she also saw a beautiful connection: both cultures use food and drink as a bridge to build relationship and express identity. Her journey became more than cultural observation—it was a dialogue between traditions, showing how something as simple as a cup of tea can open the door to deeper understanding between East and West.
