Beijing defeat Dalian for fourth straight win, stay undefeated in CSL

Beijing Guoan bat Dalian Yingbo 2-0 on the road in Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Monday, extending their winning streak to four games and remaining undefeated in the Chinese Super League (CSL).

Though Dalian had won only three games so far this season, their home field was yet to be conquered. Beijing scored first in the 19th minute when Guga launched a cross from the left wing and found Wang Ziming for a header into the Dalian's goal.

The visitors doubled their advantage three minutes later. Wang Gang stormed down the right wing and into the box before firing a low cross that deflected to Fabio Abreu who netted their second goal with a header.

Guoan sent in Zhang Yuning in the 82nd minute and he soon made an offensive contribution by earning a penalty kick, which was saved by Sui Weijie.

Despite their failure to add the third goal, Guoan pocketed their sixth win of the season. They remain third in the table behind Chengdu Rongcheng and Shanghai Shenhua.

Another pivital matchup on the night saw Shanghai Port beat Wuhan Three Towns 2-0 on the road in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province. The victory extends Shanghai's winning streak over Wuhan to five games.

Wang Shenchao opened the scoring for Port in the 12th minute with a volley on a pass from Xu Xin inside the box. Xu delivered his second assist in the 45th minute, passing to Mateus Vital who fired a long shot into the top corner of the net, marking the Brazilian's first goal for the club since joining.

Three Towns had multiple chances to score, and were unlucky on several occaisions. Alexandru Tudorie hit the bar and post three times in total.

Leonardo added a third goal for Port in the 73rd minute, but the goal was cancelled by the referee after a VAR check. Leonardo's teammate Wu Lei was ruled to have committed a foul before the goal happened.
