Located next to Dalian Railway Station in northeast China's Liaoning Province, Russian Street stands as China's first historic district to fully preserve the architectural charm of 19th and 20th century Russia. Originally built in the late 1800s as part of the Russian concession, the 500-meter-long street has evolved into a vibrant cultural hub, offering tourism, shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Lining the street are distinctive Russian-style buildings that once housed nobility, merchants, banks, churches, and schools. These structures showcase classic Russian features such as spires, arches, and wooden carvings, while also incorporating Renaissance-style European elements – reflecting a unique fusion of Eastern and Western architectural aesthetics.

To preserve this cultural legacy, the Dalian municipal government undertook extensive restoration work, officially naming the area "Russian Street" in 2000. Today, it stands not only as a popular sightseeing area but also as a significant cultural heritage site in northeast China, drawing visitors from around the world to experience its rich Russian ambiance and historical charm.
